Trademark Policy

This Trademark Policy governs the use of trademarks, service marks, logos, and brand elements owned or used by ValidMind Inc. (“ValidMind,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy applies to all partners, customers, resellers, developers, members of the press, and any other third parties.
By using any ValidMind trademark, you agree to comply with this policy and all applicable agreements with ValidMind.
1. ValidMind Trademarks
ValidMind’s trademarks include, but are not limited to:
- ValidMind®
- ValidMind™
- ValidMind logos, wordmarks, and design marks
- Product names, service names, slogans, and taglines
- Any combination of the above with other words or symbols
A non-exhaustive list of ValidMind trademarks may be updated from time to time.
2. Permitted Uses (Without Prior Written Approval)
You may use ValidMind trademarks without prior written approval only in the following limited circumstances:
- Accurate factual references to ValidMind or its products in text (e.g., customer lists, compatibility statements, case studies)
- Partner or customer marketing where ValidMind is correctly identified as a technology provider, customer, or partner
- Press and media references that are truthful and not misleading
- Internal presentations or documents referencing ValidMind products
All permitted uses must:
- Be truthful, accurate, and not misleading
- Follow the usage guidelines in this policy
- Avoid any implication of endorsement, sponsorship, or certification unless explicitly authorized
3. Logo Usage (Approval Required)
Use of any ValidMind logo or visual brand asset requires prior written approval, unless explicitly permitted under a signed agreement (e.g., reseller, partner, or marketing agreement).
This includes use on:
- Websites
- Marketing collateral
- Sales presentations
- Product interfaces
- Event signage
- Social media graphics

4. Proper Trademark Usage Guidelines
When using ValidMind trademarks:
Do:
- Use trademarks as adjectives, not nouns or verbs
“ValidMind® platform”
✘ “ValidMind does risk management” - Use correct capitalization and spelling
- Include the appropriate ™ or ® symbol on first or most prominent use, where practical
- Clearly distinguish ValidMind trademarks from surrounding text
Do Not:
- Alter, abbreviate, hyphenate, or combine ValidMind trademarks
- Use ValidMind trademarks in plural or possessive form
- Translate ValidMind trademarks into other languages
- Use trademarks in a way that implies ownership by you
5. Prohibited Uses
You may not use ValidMind trademarks in any way that:
- Suggests ValidMind endorsement, sponsorship, or approval without authorization
- Is false, misleading, or deceptive
- Is harmful to ValidMind’s reputation or goodwill
- Is used in connection with illegal, unethical, or non-compliant activities
- Appears in domain names, social media handles, or application names without approval
- Is used in misleading or disparaging comparative advertising
6. Domain Names, Company Names, and Social Media
You may not, without explicit prior written consent from ValidMind:
- Register domain names incorporating “ValidMind” or confusingly similar terms
- Use ValidMind trademarks in social media usernames or handles
- Use ValidMind trademarks as part of your company, product, or service name
7. Third-Party Trademarks
ValidMind trademarks must not be displayed more prominently than your own brand or in a way that creates confusion between brands. You are responsible for complying with all applicable third-party trademark policies.
8. Reservation of Rights
ValidMind Inc. retains all right, title, and interest in and to its trademarks. Nothing in this policy grants you any ownership rights or license beyond the limited permissions expressly stated.
ValidMind reserves the right to:
- Review and object to any trademark usage
- Revoke permission to use its trademarks at any time
- Modify this policy at its discretion
9. Enforcement
Unauthorized or improper use of ValidMind trademarks may result in:
- Revocation of usage rights
- Termination of partner or customer agreements
- Legal action where appropriate
